We are alive and well . . .

and fighting like cats and dogs. Well, Bill Bulldog and Miss Kitty are fighting like cats and dogs. Bird Brain and I are just sitting back watching the fur fly.

The purpose of this post is primarily to prove to Tiger that we actually do not intend to die on the vine, not believe we are among the worst blogs, but are a bit confused as what to do to get people to read what we poor little animals have to say about things.

1 To effectively use the animal metaphor takes more skill than writing as yourselves about animals. If you wish to follow in the steps of George Orwell or do the Watership Down thing, it takes a message to make people look through the screen of animal characters. It's not that Peter Rabbit is dead by any means, but he has few readers on the internet I'll wager. Write from your heart about things that mean something important to you and you will get readers and comments. Don Marquis used the scenario of a literate cockroach and an alley cat to offer some pieces of wisdom that stand true today. Anither thing you should do is leave comments on things you like or dislike whan you visit other blogs. People will track you down to see what you are about and they may become regular visitors. Good luck. Keep blogging. We are all needed.
